You ever wanted to play with your friends on Minecraft, but they only own Bedrock edition while you own Java edition? Well the GeyserMC plugin makes it possible to bridge both versions to be able to play on the same Java server.
Basic server installation
(Bukkit/Spigot/Paper)
1. Download the version of GeyserMC you want here.
2. Open your "Plugins" folder in your server files.
3. Drop the plugin into the "Plugins" folder.
4. Restart your server.
5. Head over to the "Network" tab of your server panel
6. Click the "Create Allocation" button. This will assign a new port that will be used for Simple Voice Chat
7. Copy the port number you were assigned. Do not use your primary port.
8. In your "Plugins" folder, a new folder should have generated called "Geyser-Spigot". Head in there and open up the "config.yml" file.
9. On line 22 where it says "port=", replace the default port with the port number you copied earlier.
10. Save the file and restart your server.
Proxy based installation
(Bungeecord/Velocity)
1. Download the version of GeyserMC you want here.
2. Open your "Plugins" folder in your server files.
3. Drop the plugin into the "Plugins" folder.
4. Restart your server.
5. Head over to the "Network" tab of your server panel

Optional Floodgate installation
Floodgate is an add-on for GeyserMC that allows Bedrock players to join without needing to authenticate with a Java Edition account.

2. Open your "Plugins" folder in your server files.
3. Drop the plugin into the "Plugins" folder.
4. Go back to your Geyser config located in the "Geyser-Spigot" folder.
5. On line 32 where it says "auth-type", change the type to be "floodgate"
6. Save the file and restart your server.
Proxy based installation
(Bungeecord/Velocity)
1. Download the version of Floodgate you want here.
2. Open your "Plugins" folder in your server files.
3. Drop the plugin into the "Plugins" folder.
4. Go back to your Geyser config located in the "Geyser-Bungeecord" or "Geyser-Velocity" folder.
5. On line 32 where it says "auth-type", change the type to be "floodgate"
6. Save the file and restart your server.
